The Chicago Bulls will not submit a qualifying offer to Michael Carter-Williams, which will make him an unrestricted free agent.
Carter-Williams was traded by the Milwaukee Bucks to the Bulls before the start of the 16-17 season. Carter-Williams won Rookie of the Year in 2014, but he’s been progressively less effective during his career as he’s failed to progress as a shooter.
The Bulls also have Kris Dunn, Cameron Payne and possibly Rajon Rondo on their point guard depth chart.
