The Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings have signaled they plan on using their prized cap space to take on bad salary and extra draft picks. Teams could be looking to decrease their luxury tax bill or to create cap space.
The decision from the Kings is interesting considering they don’t own their first round draft pick this season as part of their trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Hawks and Bulls are embarking on multi-year rebuilds.
