Zach LaVine set out his ambitions for this upcoming season with the Chicago Bulls, focusing on winning and making the All-Star team.
“Everything comes with winning. I feel like if we win and we’re in the right positions, the sky is the limit for me. I had an All-Star-caliber year last year, but we had 22 wins so it got a little bit swept under the rug. But that’s how it’s supposed to be when you have 20 wins. But if I continue to play the way I’m supposed to, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be an All-Star or All-NBA type guy,” LaVine told Eric Woodyard of ESPN.
LaVine averaged 23.7 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
Jim Boylen added that he wants to see LaVine get to the free throw line more often.
“What I’d like him to be is a two-way player, and I’d also like him to be a guy that shoots eight, nine, 10 free throws a game,” said Boylen.
